Bell & Scott Announces Spring Construction Seminar Programme

The Construction Team’s Spring Update Seminar will take place in on Tuesday 3 rd March in their Glasgow office. Brandon Malone, Pat Loftus and Sara Lannigan will discuss important decisions in the Scottish and English courts over the last six months, new and proposed legislation for 2009 and the impact of the new Energy Performance Certificates. Registration is free of charge.

Brandon Malone is hosting two events organised by CLT Scotland. The Planning and Building in 2009 seminar will take place in Edinburgh on 26 th February. Brandon will chair this event and will speak on new developments with the Building Act. Jamie Hunter, a Solicitor in Bell & Scott’s Housebuilding and Strategic Land Team will talk on Planning, including an update on the Planning etc (Scotland) Act 2006.

The ‘Construction in the Credit Crunch’ conference will take place on 27 th February in Edinburgh. Brandon Malone is chairing this conference and also speaking on the Construction Contracts Bill.
