Sheila Webster, Partner

Sheila leads our Property Dispute Resolution team, and has over 12 years experience in this field. She has been recognised as a leading individual in property dispute resolution for several years by directories such as Chambers and Partners' Guide to the Legal Profession, who described her in their 2005 directory as “the strength of the firm’s property litigation practice”. Sheila has been involved with several significant property litigation cases reported in recent years, including cases on keep open clause enforcement, the meaning of "acting reasonably", third party challenges to planning consent and applications to discharge burdens before the Lands Tribunal. Sheila is a regular speaker at conferences on property dispute issues and chaired the annual CLT Scottish Property Litigation Conferences for the last three years. She is a committee member of the Scottish Group of the Property Litigation Association, and was its first Chairman. Sheila has an MBA from the University of Manchester, in addition to her legal qualifications. Sheila is also an accredited mediator, allowing her to use her skills to find other means of dispute resolution beyond the traditional court route.
