Firm Trainees The Programme

Each trainee will undertake four seats, each of six months’ duration. We cannot guarantee the allocation of specific seats but we do consult closely on this and try to accommodate desires for particular seats wherever possible. You will receive a training plan at the start of each seat and continual feedback on your performance as you progress. An informal appraisal takes place after three months while more extended appraisals of your performance will be undertaken on a six-monthly cycle.

In addition to the specific placement appraisals, trainees are also appraised as part of the firm wide appraisal scheme (in February and August).
